Two, three or four parts: what is the difference?

A two part grinder is a lid and a grinding chamber. Simple and compact, but with no storage. A three part grinder adds a chamber below, where the ground material falls through small holes so you can take it out easily. A four part grinder has one more compartment with a screen that collects the finest powder separately.

Which size to choose?

A grinder of around 40 mm is small and easy to take along. A larger grinder, up to 68 mm, grinds more at once. Each grinder's size and number of parts are on its product page.

Metal or plastic?

Metal and aluminium grinders are sturdy and last. A plastic grinder is light and costs less. The design differs too: plain metal, a hammered finish or a bold print.
